What kind of fraud is covered by the California False Claims Act?
The CFCA applies to any claim made to the state or to a political subdivision such as a city, county, or tax or assessment district. The claims may relate to Medi-Cal (California’s Medicaid program), general procurement, transportation, education, construction or other state-funded programs.
