What kind of fraud is covered by the Vermont False Claims Act?
The VFCA applies to any claim made to the state, a county, a municipality or other subdivision thereof, a commission, board, department, agency, public corporation or authority, or any other governmental entity authorized by State law. The claims may relate to Vermont Medicaid, general procurement, transportation, education, construction or other state-funded programs.
